Shane Lipskind, MD is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist at Arizona Center for Fertility Studies and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
Dr. Lipskind received his medical degree from the University of Arizona. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was the recipient of a National Institutes of Health Intramural Research Training Award, the Alvin T. Kirmse Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award, and two Society of Reproductive Surgeons In-Training Research Awards. His research on the generation of functional ovarian-like cells from embryonic stem cells contributed to multiple scientific papers. He is the Medical Director at Arizona Center for Fertility Studies and advocate for fertility preservation for cancer survivors. He was selected as a Phoenix Magazine Top Doctor in 2017, 2018, and 2019 was named the 2017-2018 Rising Star of the Year - Phoenix by the American Cancer Society.
In practice, Dr. Lipskind continues to focus on excellence in clinical care, patient advocacy, and research. He is sensitive to the struggles of his patients delivers empathetic, personalized care to each of his patients. He is an experienced minimally invasive surgeon and is one of very few reproductive surgeons still performing tubal ligation reversal with a very high level of success. His IVF success rates likewise rank among the best in Arizona and nationwide with implantation rates exceeding 70% per embryo transfer when using IVF with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
